About Us
The Kamloops Mountain Bike Trail Association (KMBTA) is a not-for-profit organization run by volunteers.
These volunteers dedicate countless hours to establish, manage, and maintain world -class trails and facilities in Kamloops.
These facilities are fundamentally managed for the enjoyment of the public, residents, and tourists alike.
Commercial use of these sites is a privilege and should not interfere with any public use, at any
time. To help alleviate any potential public displacement, trail degradation, and concerns
surrounding liability, the KMBTA asks all commercial operators to help increase the management
capacity of the KMBTA by entering into a Trail Maintenance Agreement (TMA).
The TMA is a financial obligation that is due either before or after your use (depending on the
type of usage). The TMA also stipulates that commercial use is not a right and does not infer
exclusive use over any other operator, the public, or user of the facility.
Please do not submit any funds to the KMBTA until your application is approved. Payment is via e-
transfer or cheque. Once approved your payment will be expected no later than 14 days after
your event or use of the facilities.
In addition, the TMA does not guarantee the site availability. The TMA is separate from any
fees, dues or agreements, application, or other items required by other stakeholders. offsetting
their usage with a monetary donation.
